Dracula Untold

I am sure that if you are following this blog, you are well versed in the story of Dracula. I mean, we all know who Bram Stoker was, right? Here’s a test for you…

How many Dracula movies have you seen?

1. NOSFERATU (1922)- F.W. Murnau
2. DRACULA (1931)- Tod Browning
3. DRACULA’S DAUGHTER (1936)- Lambert Hillyer
4. BLOOD OF DRACULA (1957)- Herbert L. Strock
5. HORROR OF DRACULA (1958)- Terence Fisher
6. THE BRIDES OF DRACULA (1960)- Terence Fisher
7. DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS (1966)- Terence Fisher
8. TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA (1970)- Hammer Film Productions
9. DRACULA A.D. 1972 (1972)- Alan Gibson
10. THE SATANIC RITES OF DRACULA (1974)- Alan Gibson
11. NOSFERATU THE VAMPIRE (1979)- Werner Herzog
12. DRACULA (1992)- Francis Ford Coppola
13. DRACULA: DEAD AND LOVING IT (1995)- Mel Brooks
14. DRACULA 2000 (2000)- Patrick Lussier
15. DRACULA: PAGES FROM A VIRGIN’S DIARY (2002)- Guy Madden
16. UNDERWORLD (2003)- Len Wiseman
17. BLADE: TRINITY (2004)- David S. Goyer

This is no way a completed list. In fact, I could probably add about 50+ more movie titles to this page. Over time, our obsession/love affair with vampires and Dracula has grown. And 2014 will be the year we learn about how Dracula came to be. I am super excited to see DRACULA UNTOLD. The story looks heart-wrenching and dark. My kind of movie! What do you think????

October! Grr! I hadn’t heard of this yet! That’s interesting. I don’t know how I feel about how he turns, but honestly, none of them ever make sense. I will definitely be lining up to see this though. I’m a pretty hardcore vampire fan. ^_^
That said, I totally approve the casting choice. 🙂

I’m sure I’ve seen these and so many more. My love affair with vampires started when I was ten or so, that’s a long time ago. I can’t wait to watch this one too!
