Time to announce that I’ll be live-tweeting The Autopsy of Jane Doe for September’s…
It’s everyone’s favorite night! I know I have fun. EVERYONE SHALL HAVE FUN. *casts spell*
When the time came to post my decision for the movie of the month, I dragged my finger down the spines of my collection of scary DVDs, and nothing screamed for my attention. Sure, many I love, many I have seen numerous times, many I will watch again. But I wanted something I hadn’t seen, to disappear into a new story. To escape. I want to watch and be able to react without knowing what is going to happen. So, I went on Netflix, perused the horror movie section and chose one.
A while ago, a friend ask if I had seen The Autopsy of Jane Doe, and I hadn’t, but the name stuck in my mind. So when I saw it on the list, it seemed like the right way to go. So let’s watch…
Written by Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing and directed by Andre Ovredal, The Autopsy of Jane Doe had a limited run in theaters in 2016. The story of a father-and-son coroner team, a dead body, and some weird stuff. Hopefully something weird. I like weird. Dead bodies and dark rooms always hold great possibilities.
I’m excited for a new movie!
Have Netflix? YOU DO? Well, watch The Autopsy of Jane Doe with me on Twitter #MidnightSocietyMovieNight and #TheAutopsyofJaneDoe on Friday, September 27th. Grab your snacks, put on your comfy clothes, turn out the lights, and tweet along with me because watching creepy movies with friends is fabulous.
And BONUS! I’m going to take myself to see IT Chapter 2 on Tuesday! So, to prepare, I’m planning to watch IT on Monday and might just tweet about IT, maybe…probably.
