Meet Mary Rajotte

Mary Rajotte is a freelance writer, ghostwriter (which sounds creepier than it is) and author of scary tales.

She is a member of the Horror Writers Association and has found spooky kinship with her fellow members of The Midnight Society.

Born and raised in Toronto, Mary is a big city girl through and through. But for some reason, ominous small towns (with dreadful secrets waiting to be unearthed) are one of her favorite locales to explore in her fiction.

When Mary isn’t writing, she refills her creative font with music, baking, travel, crafts and photography.

Black Buttons Vol. 3: A Family Affair

The Midwest. People of the earth, who roll up their sleeves and do what need’s doing. They deliver an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay, give gratitude for the simple things, and are humble because the taller you think you are, well, the farther you have to fall on your face. Not a bad place to raise a family, right? Dig a little deeper, because all is not right where the bible belt buckles. In Black Buttons, Vol.3: A Family Affair, a kith and kin of creepy tales immerse you in blood ties that spellbind.

Women of the Woods

Only the brave enter the woods—those who aren’t afraid of witches, shapeshifters, curses, and darkness. In this delightfully eerie anthology, only the fearless survive. These spooky, fantastic, and gothic tales will remind you that bedtime stories—those read in the dark—are for adults too. Women of the Woods promises to keep you up at night while introducing you to more than a dozen talented authors. From dark fantasy to folk horror, Women of the Woods has a mix of frightening stories reminiscent of those by Edgar Allan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Washington Irving but with a modern touch. Enter the woods… if you dare.

Gothic Blue Book VI: A Krampus Carol featuring stories by Kathleen Palm, Victoria Nations and Mary Rajotte
