Welcome to the Spooky All Year introduction post! #SpookyAllYear is a blog hop that takes place every 2nd and 4th Wednesday. The idea is simple. On the post day, post something spooky on your blog. It could be a review of a spooky movie you’ve seen, a picture of the mist in your backyard, a spooky book cover, a spooky story you wrote, a recipe for the best grape eyeballs, a drawing…. you get the idea. It can be as complicated or as simple as you like. On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays come here to The Midnight Society and there will be a post up for that week. At the bottom of the post will be a linky where you can easily submit the URL of your #SpookyAllYear post for that day. Then, you’re free to visit the other blogs on the linky and see what spooky things they’ve come up with! Blog, make friends, be spooky!

There is no commitment to posting every time. You submit your post fresh each time. We hope you’ll want to participate often, but it’s completely up to you!

I’ve made a series of banners below that you are free to download (right click on the image and “save us”) and upload on your own blog to use in your posts. I’ll add to these occasionally to keep things fresh and fun.

So, a recap! To participate in #SpookyAllYear:

1) Make a fun and Spooky post on your blog on the post day (2nd and 4th Wednesdays)! Download and use one of the banners below if you so wish. (It would be nice if you linked back to The Midnight Society, http://midnightsocietytales.com/ so people can find the other participants, but not necessary.)
2) Come to MidnightSocietyTales.com and enter the URL of your post into the linky at the bottom of that day’s #SpookyAllYear post.

3) Visit the other participants blogs, if you want to, and comment! 🙂
4) Participate on social media with the hashtag #SpookyAllYear and make friends!
